podcast-editor
A non-destructive podcast editor: delete words in the transcript and the matching audio is cut. The original files are never modified.
Demo coming soon.
Context
Classic audio editing means hunting for passages by ear on a waveform. Working on the text makes editing as simple as proofreading a document.
What was delivered
- Word-level transcription, with Deepgram or Whisper
- Editing mode: select words and delete them to cut the audio
- Correction mode: fix a transcription error without touching the sound
- AI-suggested episode outlines, turned into chapters
- MP3 or WAV export with FFmpeg
Outcome
A tool that runs locally and always keeps the original recordings intact.
